I'm Maxx, a professional pianist in Chicago. I've been studying the piano for over 20 years and have been playing professionally for the last 7 years. In addition to public performances in the Chicago indie music scene, I play piano for weddings and other private events.
My first priority is helping to create the perfect mood for your event. I can play graceful standards, playful pop hits, or even jumpy prohibition-era 'stride' piano for an old-timey feel. I also am able to play songs you select for the event or put together a band of any combination of instruments to meet your specific needs.
